See You at Bridge! The Sessions, Strategies, and Moments We’re Looking Forward to Most
We’re in those peak summer months, which means the weekend BBQs are on repeat, the farmer’s market and CSA produce are looking better than ever, and … we’re just a few weeks away from this year’s annual Bridge Conference!
For the MissionWired team, Bridge offers the opportunity to connect with you all, our fellow nonprofit fundraisers, in person: to learn together in exciting sessions around innovative new strategies, to talk about what’s happening in the industry today, and – through collaboration – to find new ways to strengthen our approaches to fundraising and expand the reach of deeply impactful missions across every nonprofit vertical.
This year’s conference agenda is packed with exciting topics: strategies to navigate a challenging fundraising environment, new ways to think about brand and storytelling, the latest innovations in channel diversification and technology, and more. We’ll be eagerly attending as many sessions as possible, and we can’t wait to see you there! We hope you’ll stop by our MissionWired booth in the exhibit hall to say hello and connect with our team.
You can catch members of the MissionWired teams at one of two exciting sessions on Thursday afternoon. We hope you’ll mark your conference calendars and join us!
We’ll be talking all things SMS strategy with the team at Tatango – from key metrics and takeaways you can apply to your texting program, to the trends and strategies that are driving incredible growth for nonprofits with mature and robust SMS programs. Aneesh Gowri, Associate Vice President, SMS & Strategy Director at MissionWired, will be presenting alongside Mike Snusz from Tatango, Harper Grubbs from Feed the Children, and our partner at Brady United, Hannah Litman. Catch their session “Unveiling the Nonprofit Broadcast Text Messaging Insights Report.”
We’ll be digging into creative strategy and breakthrough ideas on a panel comprised of creative leadership – analyzing some of the top creative fundraising campaigns across the industry. Jenny Allen, Principal and Senior Vice President, will be presenting alongside three fellow leaders in the creative fundraising space. Find them at “I Wish I’d Thought of That!”

Unveiling Nonprofit Broadcast Text Message Insights Report
Thursday, Aug. 1 • 4:10-5:10 p.m. ET
About the Session:
Historically, there has been a significant lack of data and benchmarks to guide effective nonprofit text messaging.
In this session, we’ll present the latest research into high-converting fundraising texts, including what works (and what doesn’t) in text fundraising campaigns. Included will be new research and insights from millions of broadcast text messages and evidence-based tactics to help improve your next text message program.
You’ll also be able to take a comprehensive look inside successful texting programs, including the extensive segmentation, analytics, and experiences learned to enhance donor engagement and increase contributions.
Designed for nonprofit professionals seeking clear, data-backed guidance on improving their text-based fundraising, you’ll walk away with a solid understanding of what makes a text message campaign successful and how to apply these lessons to your organization’s fundraising efforts.
About Aneesh Gowri, Associate Vice President, SMS & Strategy Director, MissionWired:
Aneesh has led the strategy and execution for some of the largest and most high-profile programs in digital fundraising – from Rev. Raphael Warnock’s historic back-to-back Senate campaigns (for whom he helped raise over $250 million) to national nonprofits like the ACLU and Brady United. Aneesh also serves as MissionWired’s Director of SMS, designing the overall vision for the texting practice and partnering with political campaigns and nonprofits to break into this critical channel.
I Wish I’d Thought of That!
Thursday, Aug. 1 • 4:10-5:10 p.m. ET
About the Session:
Join some of our industry’s top creative minds as they dissect and analyze today’s best creative fundraising ideas. Have you recently opened your mailbox, email, or social media and found an appeal or ad from another fundraiser that really caught your eye? Then you open it, admire the approach, and say to yourself, “I wish I’d thought of that!” Well, here’s your chance to explore some of the best work of our time as Chief Creative Officers from four major agencies share the latest fundraising ideas they admire the most. They’ll examine a wide variety of offers, formats, and creative approaches – and explain why each execution is compelling and how it got their attention.
Together with you, the audience, the panel will ponder the creative strategies behind the concepts and, best of all, inspire you to come up with some breakthrough ideas of your own!
About Jenny Allen, Principal, Senior Vice President, MissionWired:
Enthusiastic: That’s the word Jenny’s clients use to describe the vibrant personality of this highly successful account manager. “I sleep very well at night knowing that I am working for great causes that make a difference in the world.” Since 2006, Jenny has managed the direct response programs of a wide range of CCAH’s clients, including health-oriented charities, environmental movements, animal organizations, and women’s rights causes: “I’m just as dedicated and intense about these causes as any of my clients because I share their values.” Also known for her creativity, Jenny’s work has been recognized through numerous industry awards.
