Introducing the 2025 Nonprofit Advisory Board

Jack Valor

Vice President, Accounts

When MissionWired’s Nonprofit Advisory Board convened for the first time in the winter of 2022, our vision was to bring leaders from across the fundraising industry together in collaboration to outline solutions to the challenges faced by the nonprofit world. At the time, programs were responding to the very first days of the war in Ukraine, and board members shared insights and strategies for building the most effective rapid response plan. Since then, this group of leaders has come together to discuss the state of nonprofit fundraising after years of back-to-back and ongoing emergencies, the impact of the shifting economy on nonprofit giving and how to future-proof fundraising programs, and strategies for leveraging data to drive results in key moments like year-end.

The leaders that make up this year’s Nonprofit Advisory Board will be responding to challenges in a unique fundraising landscape in 2025, as organizations navigate a range of uncertainties. A rapidly changing news cycle is pressing programs to parse out how decisions from the current administration will impact nonprofits; a challenging economic climate continues to influence charitable giving; and domestic and international emergencies are triggering rapid response efforts with increasing frequency and intensity.

With so much at stake for nonprofit leaders in the current giving climate, the need to come together as an industry to solve our challenges is clearer than ever – which is why we’re so excited to introduce our 2025 MissionWired Nonprofit Advisory Board.

Spanning a diverse range of organizations and nonprofit verticals, with directors from top organizations who are leading the way in driving innovation across the industry, this year’s board will be responding to today’s most critical challenges and questions by coming together to outline solutions rooted in rigorous attention to data and a deep range of expertise.
