Five Years As MissionWired: A Letter From MissionWired CEO, Kate Kline

Kate Kline

CEO

This summer, we’re celebrating an exciting milestone as an organization: Five years since we became MissionWired and set out on a new path under a shared identity that represents who we are and how we work.

It’s a milestone we’re proud of, but more importantly, it stirs in us feelings of gratitude. We get to do this because of our partners, and we feel that responsibility acutely.

Over the years, we’ve transformed and grown by keeping you at the very center of our thinking. Every change for the better has come from asking: How can we best support the causes of our partners? How can we help solve their challenges and accelerate their growth through data, creative, and strategy innovations? How can we expand what’s possible for organizations whose missions we care so deeply about?

Answering these questions effectively has guided us to new places. From problem-solving for our partners to listening to what they need and having the agility to take on their challenges as our own, our instinct for rolling up our sleeves has brought to life tools and resources for nonprofit growth that have become some of the most innovative in the industry:

Sign For Good, our proprietary tool for building custom user journeys.

The Digital Co-Op, our state-of-the-art growth and targeting data suite.

Constellation Data Solutions, our fully managed data service that takes messy, unreliable data and turns it into aligned, efficient systems, ready when you need them.

Our Nonprofit Advisory Board, MissionWired’s collaborative of leaders, brought together to share solutions to the biggest challenges facing nonprofit fundraisers today.

Nonprofit Trends, our dashboard of results from across the industry, updated monthly to bring fundraisers the latest insights to contextualize their own results.

Our growth has never been for growth’s sake, but about the number and import of problems we can solve with partners. To fully serve the kinds of nonprofits and causes we care deeply about, as MissionWired, we have undergone some powerful evolutions to become more dynamic – more capable of driving transformative growth for our partners – than ever. With the expertise across our teams to provide end-to-end fundraising strategies across more channels and stages of the donor lifecycle.

In 2022, we joined forces with CCAH to become a full-service direct response agency capable of building truly integrated fundraising programs that are nimble, results-driving, and resonant. In 2023, we welcomed Zuri Group into the MissionWired platform to help connect our nonprofit partners with the very best technology ecosystem for their unique needs. In 2025, I stepped into the role of CEO to help position MissionWired for its continued journey of innovation and evolution to better serve our partnerships. In 2026, we acquired BWF to join forces with Zuri Group. Together, BWF Zuri forms the industry’s most trusted expert in strategy, fundraising, and technology.

Most recently, we’ve updated our MissionWired logo and branding to better reflect our growing company, as well as the dynamism, energy, and creativity that we bring to fundraising programs. We’re excited to bring this new logo and branding to life across our website and fundraising resources in the weeks to come, to paint a brighter, clearer picture of the expertise and innovation that we bring to our partnerships and fundraising tools. While our look may be new, our deep commitment to your mission remains the same.

Through it all, MissionWired’s greatest strength continues to be our partners and our people. We’re fortunate to get to work alongside talented writers, designers, and artists; innovative data scientists and engineers; a highly skilled production team; and deeply experienced fundraising practitioners. To work with such talent is a privilege we don’t take lightly.

We’re privileged to be challenged by you and the causes you exist to solve. Your missions keep us inspired every day to tell great stories and drive powerful, transformative fundraising strategies. Your aspirations, and the hurdles you’re facing today, motivate us to keep evolving and innovating to build tomorrow’s solutions.

If we haven’t partnered together yet, we’d be honored to start a conversation to uncover together the opportunities to accelerate your growth and advance your mission. We hope you’ll connect with us today to talk more!

Cheers,

Kate Kline (she/her), CEO, MissionWired
