Betty Cao

As a queer, immigrant and a child of working-class parents, I have dedicated my career to fighting for social justice and ensuring that marginalized communities are heard in all levels of government and society.

At MissionWired, I specialize in strategically growing and sustaining The Digital Co-Op to ensure that campaigns up and down the ballot and progressive organizations are equipped with all the innovative tools to keep winning.

My first job out of college was as a community organizer at Chinese for Affirmative Action, an Asian American civil rights organization. I trained and developed monolingual immigrants to become leaders in the community. I have carried the learnings and values of grassroots organizing, movement building, and strategic growth in every role that I’ve held across campaigns, government, and nonprofit leadership. I’m excited to continue my journey here at MissionWired!
